What customers say?

“ Sashimi was meh, soba good, and unagi good! Staff extremely friendly. ”

“ We tried the soba tempura and soba sashimi set. The cold soba is super delicious and there is no lingering smell like the usual soba. I love it because we are eating at hot days and the soba just fit perfectly. The tempura is so-so but I don't know why it complimented the soba so well. The restaurant is super clean with great atmosphere. I live all the sunflower decoration. They have english menu but I think there are more menu listed in the Japanese one. All guest need to order at least one meal and we can not bring drinks from outside the restaurant ”

“ We stopped in for lunch before visiting Narita-san Temple. It was cold outside so we weren't interested in an eel restaurant, but were drawn to the udon noodles. The seafood bowl and udon were small, but the seafood was delicious. The toilets we used were also clean, which was a relief. It was perfect for a couple who have grown to dislike eel. ”

“ I ordered the soba and unadon set. The soba noodles were firm and chewy, and the unadon was delicious. ”

“ This is my first time coming here and I had unaju for the first time. The meat was fluffy and the sauce was thoroughly absorbed into it - it was delicious! The staff were very welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. There are automatic thermometers and disinfectant at the entrance, so they're taking measures against COVID-19. Why not stop by when you're in Narita? Highly recommended! ”

“ I visited on Saturday, January 7th, around 2pm on my way back from a pilgrimage to Narita-san. There were about five groups of customers ahead of me, and several more arrived after me. Since it was New Year's, I ordered the tekiyaki donburi (high-grade tekiyaki bowl) for 2,500 yen, and my kids ordered the kaisen donburi (seafood bowl) for 1,700 yen and the tri-color donburi (three-color bowl) for 2,200 yen. As it's the tekiyaki donburi at a sushi restaurant, it was fatty tuna and delicious. I've read some reviews saying the service has been bad, but that wasn't the case at all. ”

“ I visited here on a Sunday in mid-January at lunchtime before my first visit to Naritasan Shrine. Nearby famous restaurants like Kawatoyo were extremely crowded, so I chose this restaurant, which had a relatively short wait. I was second in line, but it took about 30 minutes before I was called (which I think was fast considering the busyness in the area). The restaurant has spacious tables, creating a relaxing atmosphere that is a world away from the hustle and bustle outside. Other reviews have mentioned complaints about the service, but everyone was very polite and I had no issues at all. The main course was sushi, but I wanted eel, so I ordered unaju. The meat was a little on the light side at the time of year, but the way it was cooked and the sauce were delicious. The rice was also delicious, as you'd expect from a sushi restaurant. ”

“ We came in to Tachobanasushi around noon, and we were welcomed very nicely. A detailed English menu was available. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food. We ordered different sets of sushi, sashimi as well as tempura. The food came quickly and it was very good, the fish was fresh and top notch quality, as well as the tempura. Overall a good experience, and the waiters were very kind. Great place to eat! ”
